Over recent years, the building surveying team have accomplished a wide variety of surveys including domestic houses, schools, banks, retail outlets, factories, industrial plant rooms and dilapidated farmyard barns.

When considering which data to collect on site, we have a standard specification checklist. We usually collect information on all major visible, structural members, windows, doors, stairs, relevant heights, changes in floor levels, radiators, kitchenware, sanitaryware and major pipes and ducts. We also place utilities such as gas and electricity assemblies. This means that we actually restrict the amount of information that we issue on the final presentation so that the final drafts are clear, concise and easy to negotiate. However, we always alter our specifications to cater for the client's needs. Therefore we are able to collect as much or as little information as is necessary.

Because our team of surveyors all bring their own wealth of knowledge and experiences to the job, it means that we always have a variety of methods of gathering the correct and apt information needed to create an accurate building survey that not only complies with, but is well within standards set down by the RICS of which we have technical membership.
